How do I get a refund on my Transit Balance?

You can get a refund on your Transit Balance at designated refund locations in Korea.

A ₩500 fee is deducted from your refund.

Note: Some stores may not be able to process refunds.

When refunds aren't available

You can't get a refund on your Transit Balance if:

Your card has been lost
You don't have your physical card with you
The transit card operator's policy doesn't allow it

Note: Transit Balance refunds are handled under the transit card operator's policies.

Before you go

Transit Balance refunds aren't available in the MoriPay app.
Your Transit Balance can't be moved back to your MoriPay Balance.
To get a refund, bring your physical card to a refund location in Korea.
If you delete your account or replace your card, your Transit Balance won't move to a new card automatically.
